The Wahl DHS115XEL is a short range non-contact thermometer with temperature range of -25° to 999°F (-32° to 535°C). Additional features include alarms, adjustable emissivity, and ten points of memory to better record temperature. Distance to spot ratio is 12:1 and spectral range is 5 to 14μm.
The Wahl DHS115XEL non-contact thermometer has a 12:1 distance to spot ratio and is best for use at short range, allowing the user to measure temperatures up to 999°F from a safe distance. The model includes all the features of the DHS115XL, including laser assist with aiming, with additional features, including:
- Hi & Low Audible alarms
- Max / Min / Average / ΔT calculations
- Adjustable emissivity
- Ten points of memory
- Electronic trigger lock for continuous reading
To measure a temperature, point the unit at the target, pull the trigger and hold to uses the "scan" mode, in which the unit will display the current temperature on the LCD. Release the trigger to activate the "hold" mode, displaying the temperature on the LCD screen for six seconds.
